Kids on the Coast is Queensland’s longest-established regional parenting magazine, and the only free full-colour glossy publication of its size and quality in the market. Over the last seven years, Kids on the Coast has built an enviable reputation as the favourite family magazine of thousands of families, and hundreds of local and national advertising clients.

Popular regular sections, a great combination of both light-hearted and serious articles, and local up-to-date content means our magazine is not just a ‘throwaway’ like so many other free publications – our reader surveys have confirmed that most readers pass it on to family and friends to read, and like to keep previous issues for future reference.

CIRCULATION & Distribution

The magazine’s three separate printed editions are distributed throughout the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Townsville. We do not use a courier company to `drop’ our magazine in large bundles at a few locations. Our distribution is managed by a specialised business which hand-delivers our magazine to hundreds of prime `family-friendly’ spots (such as daycare centres, schools, libraries, specialty children and parenting outlets, play centres etc) which also monitors and evaluates pick-up rates. With each issue, we collect this information to ensure our distribution network is up-to-date and the magazine is reaching the target market.
