As part of its campaign to support sick children in Australian hospitals, appliance company ASKO has donated 600 teddy bears and $10,000 to the Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation. The donation will go towards the Hospital’s Wonder Factory which aims to help children forget about the worries of illness and just play by providing an entertainment centre with game consoles, arts and crafts, books and more. ASKO’s State Manager, Mark McConachie said “If our donation can bring just one smile to the face of a child in need, we’ll know this campaign was worthwhile”.
