New water play area to open at Aussie World
Aussie World has opened a new water play area called Leak’n Logs. The Sunshine Coast theme park has invested over two million dollars into expanding the complex and Leak’n Logs is the fourth new attraction in just under two years to complement the 30 existing rides and games.
Leak’n Logs has been created and constructed on site and is jam-packed with unpredictable water surprises including a tin shed that inside emulates a typical Queensland electrical storm complete with thunder, wind, lightning and rain.
Features also include a walk-through mist shed sitting underneath a leaky corrugated iron water tank, random tipping buckets, intermittent and continuous showers, an outback log waterfall, and irregular dancing water jets.
This hot summer Leak’n Logs will no doubt prove to be one of the most popular attractions at Aussie World. A great way to cool off on a hot summer day!
Aussie World’s other rides and attractions include water ride Plunge where your pants are guaranteed to get wet, thrill ride Redback and fun Giant Slide. With so many thrilling rides and games Aussie World is a fantastic day out for the entire family. Located alongside the famous Ettamogah Pub just north of the Caloundra exit on the Bruce Highway. Gates open at 9am and rides start at 10am. www.aussieworld.com.au
