TEN THOUSAND REASONS WHY IT PAYS TO VISIT BRISBANE OVER THE SCHOOL HOLIDAYS

Staff at Accor’s Novotel and Ibis Brisbane hotels are preparing for complaints about lumpy pillows over the forthcoming holiday season.

Before complaining however, guests are urged to look under their pillow for their share of $10,000 in cash that is being given away between December 1 and January 31 as part of the hotels’ Checkin and Win promotion.

To be eligible to win, guests must book into either property and 'Like' the hotel on Facebook at check-in with Ipads located at the reception desk to facilitate this.

Summer rates start from $139 at Ibis and from $199 at Novotel and include breakfast for two.

The cash will be placed under a pillow by a hotel executive with reception staff unaware which room sports the pillow with the $1000 lump.

Each hotel will give away five $1000 cash pillows with the winners photo being posted on Facebook.
